Searching for Post -War Interarms Luger
Some years ago Interarms imported Lugers manufactured by Mauser in Germany. The guns were made in the 1950s and were actually on a Swiss pattern. I'm interested in buying a gun in 9mm with a 6-inch barrel. I understand some are still available NIB. Can anyone help me locate a dealer.

They also show up on Auction Arms and Gun Broker at times. The final place I'm aware of is Simpson's Ltd of Gailsburg, IL. They have a website and you should be able to find it easily enough using a search engine such as "Google". |

Doubs, All good possible sources... I think that Tom Heller (lugerdoc) might possibly have a couple of these Mausers still NIB. He bought out their supply of parts when they stopped manufacture...
You can reach him at: hellerarms@webtv.net and Welcome to the Lugerforum... I see this is your first post...

Welcome to the Forum JC !
I thought I would post a photo of my 9 mm shooter for you. It's a swiss-style, Mauser-Interarms, 6" bbl, 9mm, NIB that I purchased from Forum Member Tom Heller and then had Forum member Hugh Clark re-do the original grips (that were as rough as coarse wood files) into a beautiful bordered grip style... It's a wonderfully accurate shooter, with its 6" barrel... Hope you find a nice one ! p.s. You might also switch to the Forum section titled "Post WWII Lugers" for some interesting reading in previous message threads about these M-I lugers... Regards, Pete... <img src="graemlins/yltype.gif" border="0" alt="[typing]" /> |

Pete & Hugh, Nice job on the grips. If I had any more originals grips left, I'd consider having them done. Tom H.
