Dok, You may in interested in an article on another "swan" in the 4th edition of the 'GUN COLLECTOR'S DIGEST" appropriatedly titled "1300 grams of rust" by Gale Morgan. He shows step by step the restoration process (the way it should be done) of a rare 20 shot conehammer.

Is the 4th ed of Gun Collectors Digest the current issue or is it out-of-print?

The 4th edition is out of print. The 5th edition has been out I know for 4 years because I bought mine in New Delhi, India 4 years ago. I heard that the 5th edition is now out of print.
