Default Visiting Friends

Well, recently I have been running around the country and so has some friends. I flew out to Arizona, spent the weekend with Lyn Islaub, where I was fed and used their guest room for a couple of nights while I talked to a collector in Phoenix. Lyn and his wife treated me like a king, and even helped me sort out a few guns I bought (what was what)

Then two weekends ago, Dwight Gruber flew out to Denver and helped me tremendously with my first gunshow as a attendee; he helped sort, found a few items for me to sell later, etc, he was a great help.

This is Dwight rearranging items in the glass case that holds a couple of lugers.

Ed is a true prince and an impeccable host. And there are more than a couple of Lugers in that case...

Not right now, I live in CO, so its a long, long drive.

I am going to the Tulsa show (mid west I know), but will take about 30 Lugers for sale...

Talked with Ed & Dwight on the phone after the gun show..that's a pair it would take a full house to beat! Funny how a voice on the phone would never come close to a photo of the person.

Jerry,

When I first met Dwight at Reno, I was a bit surprised. Didn't expect a big ol' bear that speaks so eloquently with that baritone voice.

Just from their appearance which belies their personalities, I'm sure that no body flipped either of them any crap.

Ron
