Default New to collecting.

Looking for a g date luger. Something about that model has me wanting one over other model lugers. Found one at legacy collectables for $2500 seems like a good deal. Anything I should know about g date lugers or what to look for when buying one.

That's a pretty broad question. $2500 for G date isn't unreasonable if the gun is of good quality. Post a link and you'll get feedback, and also go to Simpsons. Ltd. do do some comparison.
Welcome aboard!

I am unsure why too, but I like the G dates - have had several - When I had my carbine made up, I used a G date upper - today I would have chosen a Simson, but hey, the G date Carbine is cool

I believe that is at least $500 too much for a G date with mismatched mag.

That is a decent looking G date but I agree with DonVoigt on the price.

So what would a reasonable price for a g date go for with matchin magazine? What would be a good pkace to find one?

$1500 to $2000

Where- all the usual places - Legacy has one on Gunbroker now and the bidding was just under $1500 last night.

I love G dates, I had one long ago, then I traded it for something else.
Good luck for your search.
