Nice P.08, congrats on your find!!

I wouldn't feel too bad about it being deactivated... here in Canada newly deactivated firearms are often welded up solid... the fact that you can take it apart is very cool! Better than a paper weight with no moving parts... cheers!

Wow, that is bad, I dont think I would want to own a welded deac to be honest, I never bought a new spec welded one in the UK, I would rather save up and buy a old spec

I'd offer some of the comments made on Ben's other post may have been wrongly interpreted for someone new & living in a location where there are few or no alternatives for possessing these fine pistols.

Regarding the UK, I note Mr Foley made a similar introduction in matched circumstances & went on to make considerable & in my opinion, very interesting contributions.
