interarm and mauser banner values
A friend of mine in Tennessee has a 4" Interarms luger in 9mm. It is of the typical german frame configuration, not straight frame front as the swiss version. Its in very good condition. Can anyone give me an idea of what's its worth? My guess is around $900. He also has an original Mauser banner luger, sear safety, chamber date 1941, matching magazine (FXO marked) in mint condition. No holster. My guess of its value is around $1500. Are these two prices accurate?

the banner is worth more than that, and if "mint" a lot more. I usually check out Simpsons, LTD to get a feel for prices (retail, not you and me prices)...

If the Interarms 9mm is used, then $900 is high for that one. I would guess closer to $750... You can find news ones on the auction sites for about what you guessed... See if you can cut a deal on both of them... the Banner 41 would be a real prize at the price you guessed... Offer him $2000 for both and see what happens...

I sold a mint 41 banner with matching mag last year for $2300, and the buyer felt he was getting a bargain.

Aaron,
The luger you sold me for $695 looks and shoots great, and I still think it was a bargain. Chris

Thanks for the nice feedback, Chris. That was my last matching shooter and the best one I ever had. I have a number of 90%+ Lugers I am trying to upgrade, so I expect I'll be listing them later on.
