Question Your 2nd Amendment Rights?

Hi Everyone:

PLEASE take 45 seconds to vote on this issue near and dear to our hearts.

Thanks John

I just voted. It looks like 96% of Americans say YES!
Please vote on this gun issue question with USA Today. It will only take a few seconds of your time. Then pass the link on to all the pro gun folks you know. This upcoming year will become critical for gun owners with the Supreme Court accepting the District of Columbia case against the right for individuals to bear arms.

First - vote on this one.

Second - send the invitation to vote to other folks and have THEM vote.

To vote in the USA Today poll - click on the link below.

The Question is:
Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?

Vote here:

Thanks for taking the time.

At this point, with just over 2,000,000 votes, "Yes" has 96%! The "NO" response has 3%!

I think the yes is so high because it has floated around on gun sights for the last two years and folks all over the USA have voted who are pro-gun. The question is from November 2007...

I knew how old the poll is... my point is that it is obviously still valid and taking votes. If the anti-gunners had their stuff together like they think they do... I am sure the poll would be a little less lopsided... I think the response is that indicative that they absolutely DON'T have their stuff together... When they saw early on that the poll was not going their way, they gave up.

We need to keep them in that frame of mind, every chance we get.

Old or not I just voted! If the 2nd isn't for individuals then neither are the rest! Can you imagine only the gov't having free speech? YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!

Trick question. The 2nd, doesn't GIVE us anything. We already have the right. The amendment says that gov't shall not infringe upon that right...

FNorm is right. The correct answer to the question is NO, but if we would vote that way the antigun advocates would certainly use it against us.

The goernment does NOT give us rights; it tries to restrict those rights bestowed upon us by our Creator; that is the KEY first principle that liberals don't get.
