Default Grip safety questions

I first tried to research this in the FAQ section, but surprised when typing in Grip safety, or just safety, it comes back nothing found. Might I be doing something wrong in the FAQ?

Now my questions on grip safeties. When were they last used on original military models and commercial models? From what I guess that new Lugers built after 1920 generally do not have grip safeties, except for the Swiss models.

I take the Swiss/Portuguese's 1935/06 with grip safeties were made in 1935, and the Swiss 1906/29 made in 1929.

I take in 1929 and in 1935 manufacturing changes were made to a standard 1906?
Thanks.
