Default Real Or Not...?

What do you Navy folks think about this Navy-stamped holster...real or not ? Holster looks right...just do not know about the Marine stamping...

Pete, I can see why you question this E/M marking. as it shows a lot less wear than the rest of the markings. The size and style of the die look good to me, but it all depends when this holster was Navy accepted. Is it possible that the Navy got this one used from the Whermark during WW2 or not until it arrived here in Waffenfabrik USA? TH

Pete..........Tom is correct, at the location of the mark I would think it would have far more "belt wear "....But one never knows .

Pete

I also have the same holster, with the same markings, which I acquired from Doug Smith some years ago.

Mine is in better condition, with white stitching though.

I'd say someone got a very good deal for only $ 216 USD on this holster, then...it was won on e-Bay back in April...
