Default Swiss luger 1906/1920 maybe rework?

I bought last saturday a swiss luger 1906 with no military markings but german proof marks (N) the side plate and the dissamembly lever has other numbers than the rest of the parts. U-sights. A swiss luger 06/1920 should have the letter i, but there is no letter on my luger 06?!? The holster is from 1906. Swiss lugers 1906/1920 rework have serial numbers from 2000-3600.

The barrel is Swiss proofed, perhaps it was changed in Switzerland? More pics would be great.

The lack of a suffix letter i on your Luger means only that it wasn't one of those imported into Switzerland from that block. In the years following WW1, the Swiss imported ex-military Lugers that were re-barreled in Germany or Switzerland to .30 caliber to be sold on the commercial market. They imported newly made short barrel .30 Lugers that met the conditions of the Versailles Treaty and they imported complete upper and lower sets without barrels to be barreled in Switzerland.

It's noted in Gortz & Sturgess that long frame Lugers with the cross-in-sunburst but without barrels were imported to be barreled and finished in Switzerland. IMO, your Luger is one of those.

Second try pictures. There ist one picture with Geladen (Ladestandsanzeiger i don't know the english word for it). Another picture shows the number 51 instead of 19 underneath the dissasembly lever.

"Geladen" means Loaded in English.
