Default Love this Cone Hammer, timing, timing....

FYI, a bunch of C96s will be on acution from "Buller Collection" (who is Buller I have no idea. Well, a collector, must be). A few guns are nice, but two guns are super nice standing out (of course, also the price):

Lot #1144, s/n 2162 Cone Hammer with original blue, fine bore, and matching stock:

For some reason, they post picture wrong. Instead of CH, they posted a refurbished postwar Bolo. Correct picture is here:

Next one is Lot #1143, commercial 9m/m, s/n 138237 with matching oak stock. That stock is simply lovely.

This one is attractive as well. Big issue is no stock. Gun collecting is a trade-off business.

6-Shot CH s/n 14113. Original finish, good bore, no stock.

I am at a weak moment. I love Luger as well.

======

A bunch of Bolo as well.... my favorite, Bolshevik's icon weapon. These nice ones have never visited Russia.

C96 in average or below average shape seldomly comes with matching stock. Understandably, the fragile hollow stock was broken and throwed away long time ago in it's tool stage. Many C96 in good or excellent shape have matching stocks, but Bolo is an exception. For some reason, many Bolo in great shape has no stock. Probably it was originally bought without stock, just used as a regular pistol. Otherwise, it's hard to explain why excellent Bolo's "stock rate" being obviously lower than other variations.

10-Shot CH $8,000 x 115% = $9,200
9 with Oak Stock $2,750 x 115% = $3,162
6-Shot CH $9,000 x 115% = $10,350
