Default 1906/34 Portugese Contract

I just recently acquired what I believe is a rather scarce 1906/34
Portugese contract pistol made by Mauser in the mid 1930s. I am going by info that I have gleaned off of the web and am not quite sure of what I have. According to the information that I have been able to find, the gun seems to match all of the criteria of a 1906/34
Mauser Portugese Contract gun. Where things get a little sticky is the serial numbering that I have seen for the various groups of pistols that were supplied by Mauser to this contract. I have read where 70 guns were delivered in Sept. of 1935, but no s.n.s were listed. A group of 50 were delivered in June of 1937, s.n. 4301v to 4350v, and then a third group of 30 in 1941, no s.n.s identified. I tend to think that my pistol would probably have been in the group of 70 since the serial no. is lower that that of the guns in the second group.
My pistol is 9mm., 4" barrel, nothing on the chamber, Mauser banner on forward toggle link, extractor is marked CARREGADA, and safety is marked SEGURANCA. Pistol has all matching s.n.s, except for the side plate and the magazine. It has the crown/U on the left side of receiver, and on left side of breech block, and a D on the front of sight block. Small parts are strayed and gun seems to be unaltered other that some use marks. Grips look original and are not marked.
I will attempt to add a couple of photos to the post.
I would appreciate any information that is forth coming.
Thanks in advance as I know that there is a wealth of info to be had.

This falls into the block of pistols delivered to the Portuguese Navy. The magazine should be plated with aluminum bottom serial numbered to the gun, no suffix. Serial numbers 2501v-2570v.

Default Extractor and Safety

Sheephearder,

Here are a couple of photos that should clear up the explanation of the extractor and safety markings.
Anybody care to suggest a value for the pistol, it's not for sale, but curious as to what it could be worth.
Condition is good, some slight rust, most bluing is good, bore and function are very good.
Does anyone know why the Portuguese Contract pistols were made in the 1906 style instead of the style of the current models. Did the contract continue from the initial agreement from the 1906 contract?
Thanks to all for the input.
