Markings on a Walther
I saw a Walther Model 4 (32 caliber) with crown over N markings plus an additional marking, NVp. The marking was on the left side of the slide just behind the ejection port. Anyone know what unit (or police force) it might have come from?

JL, Are you sure about the P in your marking? If NVA, it could be post WW2 EG for National Volks Army. Tom H.

I would tend to agree with Orv's NPv Austrian proof house theory. Tom H.
