1st Luger purchase: Black widow rig original or refinished?

Hey everybody I have recently joined the Luger Forum and I am a new collector. This is my first post as well. I just picked up a Black widow rig on gunbroker.com and the finish seems a little good to be true. However, the wear for the pistol is in all the right spots. The seller has a great reputation and is a really nice guy. Please let me know your thoughts on the pistol and if it has been refinished. Thanks guys and I'm happy to have joined the forum!

Hi Jared,
Welcome to the forum! The finish on your "Black Widow" looks all original to me as does the rest of the rig.

Not a big fan of WWII Lugers (as you can see by my "signature"...made after 1918 etc.

) but this gun is a beauty. Well done.
