that is a shame,

I would love to hang that mp40 on the wall. Its life story it could tell if only it could talk. but that one dose have that been there done that look to it

Probably battlefield "dig ups". I wonder if the "defects" in the helmets are just rust holes or rather shrapnel holes.

When the holes are either pushed out or in, they are definitely fragment damage. Amazing that the SS party shield decal survived so long underground.

My best guess, is that the smallest pistol is a Belgian Pieper design. It's amazing what that Florida humidity can do to your guns. TH
