Default Loading tools ID

I have 4 loading tools 2 marked WaA 920, 1 marked WaA 63, and 1 marked "stick" eagle 63. What years pistols do these go with?

See pics below

Can you post pictures? There are several variations of E/63 tools. I'm not aware of a 920 stamped tool.

In the New Collectors Forum, you will find a "sticky" post that describes all you need to know about posting photographs... If you know how to email pictures to someone else, then you already know at least half of the process. Give it a try...

Hi Tom,
Th 3 tools in the top photo look fake to me, they're the wrong shape. The 3 in the lower photo are possibly genuine but your photos are too poor to make out their inspection marks.
Regards, Norm

I believe only the "rusty" one is good. JMHO.

On the photo below are both E/63 tools correct. The one right and the WaA 920 tools are fakes

I think they are all reproductions. The one in the center in particular, although mechanically functional, appears to have a fake KriegsMarine marking.

The "lip" which is very visible in the center tool's hole is essential for use as a loading tool. The two on the right and left appear to not even have this lip, or at least in the photos, if they do have them, they appear to be inadequate for the loading purpose of the tool.

Your best bet is to buy an East German tool. They can be identified by the serated thumb extension. There's one on ebay now and it's cheap.

IIRC, the shift to "WaA" style acceptance markings happened well after production was shifted from Lugers to P.38 pistols in 1942 at Mauser.

Is it known if production of the tools continued anywhere afer 1942?
