Who makes the best Repro C96 holster?
I am looking for a nice holster for my C96 and I am wondering who makes the best reproduction holsters. I really want to stay away from chinese made goods if at all possible. I have looked at the holsters on CMR's website and the ones on the Pacific Canvas and Leather website as well. I just want a holster that is made out of good quality leather which is my main concern. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I got a Chinese made one at a gunshow for $20 that is fine. Has snaps and two mag pouches. Needed a lot of mink oil to bring it to life, but definitely worth the money.

Bought a chinese holster from a forum member some time ago, very pleased with the quality of the leather.
Checkpoint Charlies has the type also + some various other C96 stocks and holsters at a good price, mostly chinese reproductions. This is one at CMR; http://www.cmrfirearms.com/shop/prod...roducts_id=190

Try this link: http://www.checkpointcharlies.com/sh...&categoryid=15
I have one of these wooden stocks with a fake mauser banner on it. (they sort them in "VG", "excelent" and "selected"). Since it will never be anything than else than a fake, I went for the cheapest alternative ($150). It's a bit crude made and can not be misstaken for the real thing, but it works. (Come to think of it, the original ones are not that nicely made eighter)

Now I just need to find out which B-Square bolt-on 1" scope base works with a Mauser M24/30 carbine and I can mount a scope on it, too! ...But no silencer... |
