Post State Locations of Members

John,
a while back on the old forum, you were asked if a list of membership by state and address could be published. I noticed that someone asked this same question on this site. I think that I understand the ramifacations of doing that. But what about a list of members just by state. Then we could e-mail the individuals and they could accept or reject a get together. On the old forum, you said that you did not have the capabilities of doing that but now you do. Maybe members would like to have membership get togethers by areas simular to that which was had at Ralphs place.

Red face

Big Norm, you can half way figure it out, above the posting is the little pictures, run your mouse over them, one says profile, (it has one guy standing by it) if you click on it, it brings up a persons name, e-mail, their location, so mine says Eastern Washington, I felt that was a close approximation and didn't make me feel insecure...

yanno

so, I have seen many who don't put anything and it is nice if they at least say a state, for your very reasons.

The name and e-mail I believe is to make people more aware that they as a PERSON are making a comment and they should treat everyone as a person. NO FLAMING as they say.

Ed,
Can't speak for everyone else, but I don't even recall seeing the place for a state on the original application. I admit that I tried to get the pertinent facts and probably missed it.

Johnny,

In "My Profile" under "Location" is where I put my State location. It took me a while to figure this one out too. <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />
