Default Addition to My Collection - Broomhandle

Found a guy last week who had traded a few item and part of what he received in a package was this broomhandle. He said he was not interested in it and was looking to trade for a modern gun. I offered up a Walther PK380 and $200. I am now thrilled to add this to my collection.

I have always wanted a broomhandle but doesnt go along with my WW2 collection.. Might have to trade for a Red 9 at some point.

Dave,

The Achilles' heal of the C-96 is the thin bit of metal on the back of the receiver that absorbs the force of the bolt stop. Your photos #4 and #7 suggest the receiver may be slightly bowed out at this point from the excessive force of hot ammo (or could just be the photos). Examine this area closely because if it fails the bolt could end up in your forehead.
