commercial luger date?
I picked up a decent 7.65 commercial today by DWM. serial is 9762 m Anyone help me on the date of manufacture?

Wayne, these are collectible, but not HIGHLY collectible due to the large number of them out there. Also, the .30 caliber luger makes them more expensive to shoot. Many are available in better than 98% condition, so one should try to be descriminative.

Ed,
We would need more info to determine the model/year. Also include a suffix for the serial#, if it has one. Not all do. It is a small lower case cursive letter under the serial# on the front of the frame. It is part of the S#. (example: 916m).
