Default 1917

I picked this one up yesterday. I had been looking at it for a couple months but it was too expensive for me, price came down substantially so I grabbed it. It came with the drum and a stock that someone made up at sometime or another. The stock iron doesn't match the pistol. It is all matching including the grips and does have fine tune front and I later discovered rear sights. The drum looks to be the last variation made by Bing.

It is in excellent condition but really, really dirty. I'll get it cleaned up this weekend and get better pics.

Yes! Looks good. But now you need all sorts of other stuff..holster, straps, stock, loader..
An interesting stock but very technically illegal with this pistol. You need a German artillery..real or repro.

If the snail drum even works, you did really good.
The LP.08 looks authentic, but the pictures are too fuzzy to get much detail.
I love it.

I would just be happy with a stock, since I have the iron maybe I'll run across one that is without.

Hopefully the drum is ok, I'll have to find instructions on operation.
As I said earlier the LP08 is really dirty. I'll give it a good cleaning and get more pics.

Sarco has reproduction Artillery stocks -without iron- pretty cheap!

Fit your iron to the Sarco stock and it takes you out of the legal woods; reproduction Artillery stocks have been approved by the ATF, as long as they are similar to the original.

I didn't see any without the iron on Sarco's website but Numrich had them but sold out.

And that is what I did, we'll see how the fit and finish is.
