Re: Spare Parts Artillery Luger Picture
I too have my eye on an Artillery as we speak. Like you, I like the idea of a longer sight picture. You did a beautiful job and I'll bet at a very fair price.
If money is no object, you might want to purchase this Artillery. http://www.ahfrichmond.com/arluger.html |

Ah gee! It looks like the grips don't fit. I guess that I will pass.

Sorry not my type,
sorry, it isn't my type and that $13,995 price tag is a bit much. I think I'd rather go to Ralph's and pick something or 3 or 4 for that money!

Re: look what the cat drug in
MY GOD! The horror of it all! I guess there are only 25 suckers in the world. I ask you , Why go to all that trouble and then put on grips I wouldn't put on a shooter. I guess their woodworking skills are a little less developed than their taste. I personally see it as a bastardazation of an historical firearm. And they call themselves the What? Jerry

Re: Spare Parts Artillery Luger Picture
A couple of references have been made to-longer sight radius and longer sight picture--The sight radius on a standard pistol is just under eight inches and on an Artillery it is about 7 inches--it is actually shorter on an Artillery-just farther from your nose.
I think the navy was sight probably the better idea. |

Jerry,
You made a good point on the organization seeling these pistols. I memory serves me correct, one of the NAPCA members called this company and asked various questions on the pistol. Basically, their answer was they were in business to make money! Marvin |
