Default hold open latch

thanks to all who helped me with side plate assembly. on a1914 erfurt 7.65 luger. the gun was missing hold open latch. i bought one and installed it. the gun works fine feeds fires ejects. toggle does not hold open after last shot. the toggle holds open when i pull open by hand . thank you for your help.

It sounds like underpowered ammo or too strong a mainspring.

Anchor24, I have been looking for a hold open latch for a frame. Could you let me know where you bought yours. my frame is a early mauser G date I think.
