Talking Red Grip magazine

Hello Lugers

i am since today happy Luger owner in Germany.
I have a 6/29 red Grip serial 5153Z with 90 % blue and only two scratches - get for an apple an an egg ( German slogan).

But it has only black plastic knob magazine. I seen in a gallery that there are red knobs.

Who know if I can gat in germany / Swizerland such items.
Excuse my bead engish.

Try Stefan Mahrer who lives in CH and has this web site :

http://www.swissdagger.com/index.htm

Or try Andrew Zink who also lives in CH :

http://www.augustus.ch/

If not, contact FGS, Inc. here is the USA...they have red Bern M1929 magazines for sale from time to time. Talk/email with Ken Clark or Dough Smith :

Dear Pete,

thanks. I will ask there.
Now I mus look for ammo. Here in Europe is the only knowed manufacturer fiocchi. I hope this ammo goes.

Maybe I well upload a photo of my red grip Luger.
She looks very well , over 90 % blue and only two small scratches - in the collection she layes with much other guns in a box like a defect spare part.

Best - HM

Hi Henry,

In the USA, we are lucky to buy 7,65 mm ammo (Lapua ammo made in Finland in the 1980's) from this vendor...but I do not think they ship overseas...price is very good for hard-to-find ammo :

Maybe you can find a similar supplier in Europe...??? If you do, please post info. on the Luger Forum...as we have many members in Europe and elsewhere...

Default Picture and ammo

Hi Pete and all Lugers,

in Germany You can get italian ammo from Fiocchi, SP and FMJ 93grs - 500 costs 165 Euro . All brass is boxer primed.
Other labels like Geco Norma SAKO and Lapua do not produce since over 10 years.
I got 50 shot Geco - it really works good.

Here is a picture, the left side has two scratches and 10 % no blue, maybe ist falling down and the holster scratched ist. Right side ist 100 % like new.
Best

Hello Henry,
To find a magazine with red bottom is not so easy and expensive, I payed CHF.200.- for my last. The right ammo is easy to get if you live near the Swiss border ....

Henry,

Last red M1929 magazine I bought here in the USA cost me $ 160 USD. I was happy to pay that as you do not see them for sale without a gun too often.
