Default CZ 24 extractor problems

Fellows

Does anyone here have experience with the CZ 24 and 27 pistols?

I have a CZ 24 pistol that does not extract upon firing. Although the feeding and extraction work if the action is manually cycled, it fails to extract the spent case from the chamber, resulting in a "double feed". it looks like the fired case rearward travel is being stopped by the next round rising up and blocking it. The recoil spring is new and the same problem occurs with different ammo and magazines.

Oddly, this happens only on live firing. The extractor holds the case snugly when the the action is manually cycled and there are no obvious flaws on the extractor, spring or slide recess where the extractor rides. I have tried a new extractor, spring and recoil spring, with no improvement.

One nominally qualified gunsmith has attempted repairs, without success. Is there anyone here who has experience or insights with these pistols?
