Exactly what I was thinking. We get a lot of Alaska fishing boat and homesteaders guns that come down. I have yet to see even a modern gun that is in this condition. Most are in need of restoration or refurbishing of some kind. Nearly all have, at the very least, surface rust somewhere. In fact the running joke is that "It must have been on a fishing boat in Alaska",when a rusty pitted gun comes into a shop. Ron
