Default Krieghoff 1940 British Capture

I recently aquired a 1940 Krieghoff. I would like to know about the British capture markings. In Randal Gibson's book their is very little information.

It is stamped on the barrel, 752', 13 TONS, 9mm, and NP.

They are not capture markings. They just indicate that at one point the Luger was available on the commercial market in the UK (e.g. through a gun/sporting good store) and was required to be proof tested.

Marc,

Some/many collectors have the opinion that British import/proofing stampings on a collector-grade Luger will detract from its value potential.
