Another AK pistol custom build...
I hope you like this one. I'm painting it right now and I'll post pics as soon as I can reassemble it (a couple of days).

Steve,
Is it 7.62x39? Must be a barker... Ron

Yeah, it's 7.62x39. It burns about a quarter of the powder in the chamber, about half is burned in front of the muzzle and the rest is launched at the adversary...
I'll try to get some night shots and post them as soon as I can.

Geez.. that is one short AK Steve!
Never seen anything like it.. currious to know how you fire it. Single handed? ..two hand stand? Perhaps you should try with black powder in the dark? Would not hurt the rifl.. uhh.. pistol, just make a lot of cleaning work afterwards. Making such toys in this part of the world would be far from legal btw..

That's a shame you can't build somethihg like this in Norway, Steinar. They're a hoot to shoot! And they flash like crazy at night. The one in my avitar, which is an inch and a half longer than this one, puts out a big 'ol fireball. Almost looks like a mini flame thrower...
I fire it singlehanded with the 30 round mags but two handed with that 75 round drum. Amazing how much 75 rounds of 7.62x39 weighs!

Have you concidered mounting a small compressor on it? The bang will be about the same, but recoil and muzzle flare would be reduce a bit.
..on a second thought, I quess size and flare is probably a part of the fun
