Default RK Enterprises...C&R Package

Picked up a really nice and thorough C&R license holder's package from RK Enterprises (805 687-4565) today. Cost was a little over $ 35.00 which included overnight shipping.

Got the tip on the cruffler.com web-site...

The package has lots of BATF and CA-State required forms and the bound books that are required. The package also has some easy to follow, step-by-step instructions for the new C&R holder...especialy for the most-restrictive CA-state regulations.

I spent hours on the BATF and CA-State DOJ web-sites and got more and more confused...finally I gave up, suspecting our governments just don't want to make it easy for us to buy guns...

I do not mean to be a sales commercial for RK Enterprises. Just wanted to save other beginners some time if they are considering a C&R license...

Default Why pay for free stuff?

Why pay for things that are free. If you want a C&R call the BATF in your state, they'll send you out the forms. In California you need a Certificate of Eligibility, so call the the Justice Department. It took me 30 days to get a C&R and about two weeks to get a COE. COE is require by California. When you get your C&R it tells you what records you must keep.

Default Becasuse I Chose To...

Tracy P.,

Most folk say I am a pretty bright guy, having two college degress and all...

I just could not read through the government double-speak on the BATF and the CA-DOJ web-sites. The text of the actual regulations was just trying my patience. I get a headache justing thinkg about it...

Also, the bound books and pre-printed forms were something I would need to buy elsewhere or down-load from somewhere. Again, it just saves time...

The $ 35.00 bucks spent, was/is worth it...IMHO...

Respectfully,

Pete...

Default Double Speak

Yeah..........the 'FOG FACTOR' is pretty high on that stuff. Sometime, I think they don't know what it means, either?
