Orv Reichert RIP
COPIED FROM JAN STILLS FORUM, ALTHOUGH WELL KNOWN ON THE P38 FORUM / RUN BY JOHN DUNKLE
Orv Reichert Sadly as reported on the p-38 forum Orv passed away yesterday. If you do not collect p-38s you may not know who he was but he would have to be considered the person responsible for much of the information gathered so far on these pistols. He began logging information on condition and ownership that has helped in tracking guns that have been enhanced sometime in their life. This man will be missed as his research is much used and he shared with everyone. Curt |

What a loss to the P.38 collecting community and to those of you who didn't know Orv personally, he was a real treasure... he will be missed. I hope that he data he collected over a lifetime will not be overlooked... it is priceless.

OMG! I should have checked in here more often. So sad that he passed, he helped me with some P-38's that I picked up. RIP Orv.

I read about your "new " luger carbine. Are you going to NAPCA convention in Chattnooga? I'll bring mine for comparison. Sorry about recent deaths. We are all getting older. Joe Inabnett
