wondering of value
i have a mauser luger s/42 g dated,all matching serial # including magazine, 7 rounds of original ammo,holster "not the best of shape" but still sturdy and and extra magazine ser# 4320. gun is in excellent cond. also have what i believe are capture papers. my father ,a ww2 vet brought it back after war. just wondering if anyone could give me an approx. value? thanks any questions or comments would be greatly appreciated

Hi Ron, welcome to the Luger Forum!! G-Date Lugers are found in one of six subvariations. There were about 55,000 G-Dates made in 1935. If you would tell me your serial number and the markings on the right side of the receiver, I would add it to my data base.

As Frank said, WELCOME to the forum!
Pictures (digital or scanned in) would help make a "reasonable" guess on value. G-Dates are wanted by collectors, and although since it is a family piece you should keep her, there are collectors on the forum that like this year variation! ED
