Post Price on a Borchardt

A local dealer has a Borchardt for sale. The price is $7500. The finish would rate about 95% with wear on the sharp edges and the muzzle. There is no case or holster. I'm interested, but wonder about the price and the resale value of a Borchardt. Any help would be appreciated.

J.L.,

I don't own a Borchardt, but I think the guys on this forum that DO own one will tell you that is a good price on one... Give the rest of the gang time to wake up, and you will have a few dependable answers...

You mentioned there is no case or holster, how about a shoulder stock or extra magazines?

Any photos available that you can post?

There are no extra magazines nor is there a shoulder stock. One of the reasons I'm hesitating is because the pistol lacks a shoulder stock.

Thanks for the comment. I hope others will respond.

I believe that far more borchardt pistols have survived the passage of time than have the shoulder stocks or other accessories.

the only borchardt's I currently know of for sale start at $18,500

Simpsons just sold a cased one for $19,500

JL:
Price appears resonable. Is it a Lowe or DWM?
Does the mag match? Simpson has beautiful repro stocks @$1500.00

Hi JL,

Randy Bessler has a repro holster for sale at $ 695. The web site used to have a photo...but does not currently. I am sure he would send a photo if requested...

Scroll down to the section of luger holsters...the Borchardt repro holster is listed first...

Pete
Didn't Simpsons have a Repo stock at one time?

If the gun has not been Refinished I think it is a very fair price>
