Smile P08 Carbine & C96 set

Hello,
I saw this on Gunbroker and thought I ask what anyone thinks about this. A set of an P08 carbine 1902 and a C96 with case. Does it look legit? How much anyone think they will sell for?

http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/Vie...?Item=23475449

Thank You
Michael

Hello Michael,

The V&LD Broomhandle appears to be correct, but it is hard to make an opinion/determination on the Luger Carbine which appears to be in outstanding condition based on the image.

In my opinion, if both items are genuine, the Broomhandle is worth about $4,000-$4,500 and the Luger Carbine $14k-$17k. Having both items as a set does not increase the value.

I hope my answers help you with your questions.

Cheers,
Albert
