You've got to be kidding! Outside of the alledged provenence, it is nothing more than a hunk of ferric oxide!

I suspect the OP had his tongue planted firmly in his cheek. The "clean 'er up with Klenzoil" jokes are probably next. What concerns me is that there is no provenance at all to prove that this pistol wasn't simply dug out of some back yard in Ohio. Always buy the pistol (or at least what's left of it), not the story.....

On a serious note, how do you identify a "Luger Expert"???

What criteria do you use to judge???

There have been some on this Forum (now banned) who considered themselves 'experts'...

My opinion is it should be put back in the ground.

Postino

To bad the book is not a little more complete.
Where is the Section on "Hitlers Gold Luger?"
What about the "The Great Russian Luger Debate",the "sneak" lugers, the "Black Widow lugers" and of course the
"Imperial Japanese made lugers"?

Good stuff

Yep. But I may have mis-spelled his name...Neuman or Newman??? (This may be his German cousin)...

Fester Bestertester was one of my favorites...
