Default Sold Out!

Ok guys, I got a 8 pt (eastern count) buck Friday morning, so the pressure is off and I can devote more time to other activities.

I have put together three parts guns. I just fired a magazine full thru each one and they all functioned flawlessly. These are parts guns with a few matching parts, but mostly mixed numbers. The bores are excellent. All have original functioning magazines.

#1 - "1917 Erfurt" - Has some pitting on the frame, but has a nice shiney dip blue overall. SOLD

#2 - "1916 Erfurt" - The frame has one of those "baked on" looking finishes that is flaking off in places. The receiver and toggle have nice original finishes. SOLD

#3 - DWM 1906 Commercial - This is a 1906 frame (no stock lug) with an undated receiver. The frame is stamped L.A.7.4. on the front grip strap. The frame has minor peppery pitting, the receiver and toggle are not pitted and have original finish. SOLD

Prices include shipping:

#1 1917 Erfurt = $475 SOLD
#2 1916 Erfurt = $500 SOLD
#3 1906 DWM = $550 SOLD

If you are interested in any of these guns, email me at hhclark@wildblue.net and I will send you pictures.

Ya just like dangling newbie bait! Where do you come up with all of these bargains? I don't want to hear anyone complaining about no cheap shooters! Jerry Burney

Hugh,

Did the 1906 frame number make it to the database yet? And congrats on the deer, sounds like a good'un--tender and tastey.

Dwight,

I'm not sure, I need a database to keep up with all of your databases!

Probably not, as this was an extra frame laying in the bottom of my parts box. I think there are a couple more there also. What info do you want? I also haven't sent you the info on my C/RC Erfurts, will try to do that this week. :icon107:

Anybody that wants a shooter better hurry up and jump on these.
I know I am. Congrats on the nice buck you got.
Hope those armadillos don't eat it all up before you get some.

Hugh,

If its just frames, the serial number will do, and if its marked GERMANY. If the safety lever is present and it is a type-2 (or a type-1!) thats good to know. Also if the takedown is numbered on the right. Also if its long frame or short. Hmmm, I guess thats more than just the serial number, isn't it?

If it is just a P-08 frame, I'm interested in the number if it is 5-digit.

Thanks much, and looking forward to the c/RC info.

Jerry,

Back when I had the bright idea of making baby Lugers, I collected up a box full of parts. Since that project has been abandoned, I decided it would be fun to put together several parts guns that newbies could afford for shooters. I could probably make more money selling the parts on xbay, but what the heck! Its almost Christmas and I'm in a good mood since getting my buck! Besides, I have my eye on a nice Colt Single Action that costs more than these three put together!!

Default One down - two to go

I'm surprised they have lasted this long!
Where's all those crybabys bemoaning the lack of reasonably priced shooters?
I'll never have sympathy for them again !

Come on guys,That kind of money for a tested shooter is going to be hard to beat.

If I had more money-instead of all these good looks
I'd take two of them off your hands.

Hey Hugh! It is Christmas Shopping time! I don't think my wife would like a shooter for Christmas, or my Mom. It is getting harder and harder sneaking the guns in, and the money out! Especially this time of year!

Sean, honesty is the best policy... think of the heck you would have to pay if she found out about gun purchases that you didn't tell her about... just tell her the truth... that you are working on collectible investment firearms collection that will supplement your retirement annuity for her once you are gone... you can tell her that Lugers in particular have more than doubled in price in just the last 7 years... when this forum was started, shooters (russian capture guns just being imported) were plentiful at about $250 for the hand selected nice ones that were matching numbers...
