Default Jan C. Still Books.

It seems that Jan C. Still Books are demanding high prices, who ever have one fore sale, any particular reason why ?

Yes, they are some of the best around. Each era is covered and in detail.

If you don't have them, you should at least have the ones of the era you like.

Right now you can still buy Central Powers new from him; when he gets sold out of them, the price will shoot up; demand and his name.

His books have a good reputation, and cover many areas, so folks like them.

They are very high quality large format books with lots of full page photographs. Plus Jan Still is like the Stephen King of Luger collecting. The detail, research and material just don't get any better than that, with all due respect to the other very excellent writers on the subject.

Once his books sold out, they jumped 2-3 times in price simply due to scarcity. Most serious luger collectors would never think of selling theirs so you just don't see many for sale and therefore demand a premium.

I am always looking for a copy of Third Reich Lugers for a great price as I don't collect "Natzi" guns but am missing that one from my book collection. I was sick a few months ago to miss one on an auction site that had been sitting there 3 days for a buy it now price less than the cover price.
