Sports Authority has "buckets" (think Remington) for $64.

Nobody is going to have it for long. When they get a bunch in, as soon as word gets out the hoarders swoop in and clean them out.
WalMart and Cabellas get shipments in during the week, but you have to be there at opening time on the right day, because others are already lined up.
Strange world we live in...

As my grandchildren say, My Bad. It is not Sports Authority, but rather ACADEMY SPORTS AND OUTDOORS.
So sorry for the error.

I don't think .22LR is readily available anywhere, unless you want to buy from the scalpers @ 15c/round. Our local Walmart gets deliveries every Saturday, so the scalpers hang around until the truck arrives and then they line up to buy everything that came in. I talked to the guy in the sporting goods dept, and he said that it's always the same guys...

BTW, this was kind of funny: When the ammo situation was really bad, the scalpers were selling the cheapest bulk pack .223 for $1.50/round. I happened to ask the guy in a sporting goods store if he had any .223, and he said: "Yeah, we have plenty of Hornady V-Max but it's kind of expensive, $19 for a box of 20". In other words, I could buy premium ammo for less than the bottom feeder stuff.
