Eric Needs Help Installing A 'lock bolt spring'
While cleaning my dwm a super small lock bolt spring poped out and I was lucky to find it but I have no idea where it goes and how to reinsert it. Please, pretty please can you help me!! TKS snookem13@aol.com Eric

Eric, are you talking about the spring that goes under the locking bolt and provides pressure to keep it from flapping around?
If yes, then you can install it several ways, however, ensure it is not broken; there should be a almost half moon curve to it and then a little ball at one end. I always take needle-nose pliers and use them to come in from the 'right' side of the locking bolt hole and then drop it in. It is slightly tricky, but after 4 or 5 tries or more it will fall in, then you push in from the top until it lightly clicks. My advice is to lightly clean the outside and run a bore brush down the bore, and leave well enough alone Ed

It figures that I would srew up the smallist little piece on my luger. For now ill put it in a little envelope and find a luger expert at the next gunshow because I will make things WORSE!!!! Thank You Uncle Ed!!!
