I have always wondered what the black finish with the strawed parts left in stainless would look like. Nice!
My 9mm stainless has a 2000 chamber date but is not one the 1900/2000 lot. Steve |

The AIMCO guns shoot well but they do have 2 systemic problems; at least the 3 that I have experience with (purchased as gifts for others) did.
First, the take down latch spring is occasionally not up to the task and the thing will try to field strip itself as the cannon moves out of battery. Second, the toggle axel tends to want to drift out of its intended location which causes problems. In each case where these problems were encountered, I called Mr. Romo at AIMCO and the repairs were made gratis.
