Default Help me Identify this Luger

I'm helping a couple to dispose of their gun collection. I appreciate any information and Thanks!

The Luger they have is being difficult to identify with my limited knowledge. I have searched and read many sites, looked at pictures and tried to match up the info I have, but am coming up short.

I have pictures of every number and symbol I can find including the inside of the grip. The magazine has a matching SN, but the Holster might not be a match.

This link is to a zip file with all of the pictures I have.

Here are some pertinent pics, not sure how many I can include.

Not a really early. Knurled not dish toggle, no 1906 grip safety.
Looks like a WWI DMW but does not have year stamped on top
Finish looks almost too good, so maybe with year missing it was refinished at some point.

Read through the FAQ's (on top bar) to get info on how to 'read your Luger'

I wonder, this pistol looks like it started out as a commercial and then was placed into military service or meant to look like it, the take down latch is stamped in two places, looks refinished as I can’t see any halos. Commercial c/n stamp on left of receiver and a waffenamt on the right side the kind I’ve never seen on a Luger frame that way. Magazine needs a serious cleaning. Parts gun? Need more and better pictures. I’m sure some experts will chime in soon.

It's a commercially made pistol that found it's way into police service. Acceptance for the police was done by a Waffenamt.

Ah yes missed the sear safety. Just thought a Luger taken into police service would have more acceptance stamps.

Default Thanks for the info so-far

I appreciate the comments you guys have offered.

It does help a bit.

I've cleaned up the magazine just a little bit, but was trying to show it as is.

As for pictures, I do keep trying to link to pictures, but for some reason they don't show up.

I've got them on OneDrive and Imgur, neither of which show up when I insert them in my post.

Obviously there is something I'm not doing right.

And top view
The holster looks like a really nice 1942 military.

Default thanks for putting the pics up

How'd you do that?

I'm not clueless about pics and links, just not sure what I'm doing wrong, haha.

Alphabet Commercial 7333t made around 1928. Army acceptance stamp right receiver, went into police service (sear safety). Need pictures of all barrel markings--if any--to determine if it was originally made in 9mm.
