What is a "referral"???

I'm looking at my Profile, and I have one "referral"...What is a referral???

Had to look that one up

Basically, if a new member signs up on the forum using a direct forum link that you supplied, the forum recognizes this and adds a referral to your profile.

So you scored a new member for the forum.

Or they put your user name in the 'referral" block

That must be it...I have mentioned this forum on ARFCOM and CNCGuns Forums...but no one has ever asked me about it...

(It was probably Lou...that rascal...for one of his many aliases...)

Edit: Ed only has 3 referrals...Vlim has none...Hmmm...What conclusion can we draw from all this???
