As I said on the other Forum, we all have lost a fine member of the Great Generation, you have witnessed this in person. My sympathies to you Dwight.

My father was interred yesterday with full military honors. Thanks very much for everyone who expressed their condolances.

Dwight..I recieved your packet ...the story your Father wrote about his experiences..joining the Army Air Corps, being shot down and his plane being found. I have spent the last 3 nights reading it all..really fascinating, very well done. Good photo's too.
My Father wrote one just like it a couple of years before he died 10 years ago. I am glad he did. It would have been forever lost.
