ty, the nickel arty upper went for 670.00 a lot more than I would have been willing to pay for it .

I agree 100%. At $3-400, I would have been a player.

looks decent in an old display box I had lying around , changed the grips to some black repo grips and a repo magazine . got most of a box of a .30 luger donated to me , so will give it a test run today and see how it goes.

test firing went well , only one ftf , second round fired . no issues there after , bore is only fair ,if that . but it does shoot.

Glad to hear that it is a reliable shooter. I own an alphabet Luger with a "sewer pipe bore" that is still very accurate!! It doesn't take long to clean a pitted bore, as one can not see powder residue, or at least I can't.

It has been my experience that even with a bore that looks like a sewer pipe that Lugers are among the most accurate guns ever manufactured... Just my $0.02

John, this one has the worst bore of any I have owned , and does seem to shoot well. so I do tend to agree.

Yes, all the same.

Some few are/were "labeled" on the base as 7.65 or 9mm, but there is still no functional/dimensional difference.

have fired all my .30 luger ammo , must say I am impressed with the way it shoots . very rough bore and still hits where I aim it , only a couple of ftf and no other issues . so I now own a bling shooter .

There are a lot of worse things in life than owning a 'bling shooter" LOL!!!

If you are not a handloader, then perhaps you might want to look into the surplus Finnish Military 30 Luger ammo being sold by Samco out of Fla. Some of us on this forum have purchased some and it works 100% for me, and David also. Just a thought.

If you mean the ammo, mid 1950's was mentioned in another thread.

Glad I could help out. It is consistent ammo, at least it has been for me. I may well order a bit more at that price just to have around.
