short krieghoff baby
Hi,
Did anyone hear about a baby krieghoff, very short barrel with "Krieghoff markings (?)", shorter grip and magasine. How and where should it be numbered Thanks |

I do not believe there is any "should be" numbering. I am unaware of any production Krieghoff "baby" so it is most likely a gunsmith custom made item and the markings could be anything.

Hi Ron,
This is probably what it is, thanks. This one is in a high end luger and mauser collection along with a nearly new cased borchardt carbine and other rare 08s and mauser pistols. May I put another question please, there may be a mauser zick zack carbine, very first model, number 1 available. It has some restoration. there migzht also be some other pistols available. Thank you |

Thorsten:
A "baby" Krieghoff was auctioned on Gunbroker maybe two years ago. I don't remenber if it was all Krieghoff or just the toggle. I think the price was around $2600.00. Regards Ken D |

Oups Ken,
thanks, I suppose that was a toggle or a sadly shortened Krieghoff. I don't believe either that these had been factory built. Any idea of a mauser pistol forum ? Thanks Thorsten |
