Great Forum
As a new guy here I just wanted to say thanks to all you moderators and members who spend time making this a great place for those of us that are "luger addicts". I have been an addict for years, but I didn't realize that some of you are worst off than I (or better depending or you point of view).
There is a lot of information here and I have gained more in the last few weeks than I could ever give back, but if there is something I can do to make this a better place just ask. Thanks Jim

tsk, tsk
How can I learn. If you have one KRIEGHOFF, then you scan in a picture of some acceptance markings, comparing them to say, Mauser markings and... you know, gosh, if I had one , I'd do that! Now if anyone wants to loan me their's, I'll be glad to show everyone a detailed posting of these interesting "variations"

Hello Jim,
And a belated welcome to the Luger Forum, as well !!! If you have access to a digital camera, the rest of the luger addicts here would always love to see the fruits of your years of luger collecting...! Also, have you specialized your interests in lugers ? Regards, Pete... |

John D, you fussing about nothing being posted to the Kreighof section is like me going out of the county and getting some fancy breed dog and bringing it home and getting testy cause there ain't nothing but mongrels around to breed with her. Come on. There just ain't that many of them around and you already know where they are. I know I need to get out more often but then I sleep well knowing that El Kida or Del Quidda or whoever they are won't never show up around here.

Pete,
thanks for the welcome, like I said I've been a luger addict for the past 15 years or so, but like most of us raising a family has always come first, so having extra $ around has come hard. I like the Third Reich Lugers, and am trying to complete the 1937 variations. Its seem that prices have really gone up lately and some of the guns I've seen at local guns shows are way off base. Is everybody else seeing the same thing? Jim
