This is the mark on another Luger (Same mark that is on Miles' gun). Doesn't look like Taurus to my eye. The curved lines are not symmetrical and certainly look like an attempt to portray a flame...so I am going to stay with flaming bomb.

Images are courtesy of the late Luger collector, Viggo G. Dereng, a long-time member of this forum, and dear friend to not only me, but many here.
John,
I think that you would agree that the "artist's concept" misses the mark a little.
I never knew him personally, but I thought that Viggo was a nice man and a heck of a craftsman. Not many people would tackle reproducing an Ideal shoulder stock/holster.

Only if the bull had 3 horns.

The middle horn does not show well on many impressions- especially on the mag base.

I got some pictures of the grip repairs from Jim Solomon last night.

He is a true craftsmen! They are exceptional, it's hard to believe they are the same grips.
Amazing turn around time as well. I believe they were delivered to him Friday.

I am always blown away by the quality of work performed by members of this forum.

Thanks Jim!

(Sorry for the lighting differences in the photos. Before photo was taken by me, after was not.)
