Question 1937 S/42 Puzzle???

Just completed salt bluing a 1937 S/42. BUT.......this one was a first! Guess why? <img border="0" alt="[ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" />

Bob, I'll be very surprised if you're not correct about it being a K98k. I've recently purchased a couple of these rifles, and they have many of the same codes as the WWII Lugers. Good job!

Ted, Post some pictures. I have a 1937 Mauser 340B target 22 I'd love to have you restore! It's a mini-me K98.
