Default GT the Magician

I wanted to show you all some more awesome work that GT did for me.

The first thing is a 7 shot FXO style baby luger mag. As far as I know almost all the “regular” baby luger mags only really hold 6 rounds. GT was able to use a new Mec-Gar and the FXO base to get an extra round in the tube. Another nice thing about his method is that you don’t need to weld up the mag tube slot because you don’t have to cut it in the first place. He really put a lot of thought into this design and after bench testing it appears to work well.

The second item is an original DWM mag that came to me with a parts Luger. The bottom was basically torn off and it was bent in almost every way possible, the follower was almost stuck in place as well. The before picture doesn't do it justice. I sure didn’t think it was salvageable but sent it to him anyway. He was able to straighten the tube back to spec and installed a GT spring and a nice wood base, it is now smooth as butter. The best part was he repaired this mag for free!

Also, this weekend I was able to get my GT revised drum to the range and it worked flawlessly. I put a video of it in action on the Luger Facebook page. I have not been able to get the smile off my face since.

Thanks again GT, you’re the best!

I had found an old Dutch commercial Luger magazine awhile back. The base was barely holding on and it had all kinds of problems after 6 rounds inserted. The feed lips were also...all messed up to say the least.. GT was able to install an aluminum base on it and fix the feed lips, now it works flawlessly (ironically in the shooter Luger which I also purchased from him and it’s an absolute dandy in its own right). G.T. is awesome, I just hope he realizes how much many of us appreciate him and his work. Enjoy your new mags!

I can confirm that G.T. has magical powers.

This is a true story. After a string of emails on a magazine issue, I mailed him a magazine for repair on Friday afternoon, USPS First Class small package. On Monday afternoon I received the perfectly repaired magazine back from the USPS. I am in Colorado, he is in Arizona. Such speed is IMO only possible by magic.

Default Broken Luger mags and such!

Hi to all, It is very heart warming to see all of the support I receive from this forum! I always try to keep thing relative, as in, a mag that isn't very good, and needs a lot of work, doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to charge a lot?... Most times, on mags like that I charge little or nothing, and as a result, make a fellow Luger enthusiast happy and feel like he got a little break in this shared hobby of ours... What price can you put on a smile and good feelings?... … As I've said before, this is the herd I'm part of, and as long as I can, I'll take care of those that want my help!
Thanks again, and best to all, til....lat'r......GT....
