1944 Ammo
I ran across a guy the other day who stated he had some orginal 1944 German ammo and might be willing to sell it. Well I was able to meet up with him today and bought all he had thinking some of you might want a few boxes. All sealed boxes and a couple loose shells from a box he had opened. The head stamp is - ak St+ 9 44 - I have about 15 extra boxes if anyone is interested. I gave $28 a box and just looking to get what I paid plus actual shipping.

The cartridges have copper plated steel bullets and lacquered steel cases, and are headstamped ak St+ 9 44. Made at the what had been the Sellier & Bellot factory at Vlasim, Czechoslovakia, which was placed under German control in 1939 from what I can find.

I'd to chrono these through my luger, MP40 and a 16" carbine to get the "real world" velocities.
I'm looking for the 98 grain Sintered Iron as well. It would be a black bullet. |

Be cautioned that these are corrosive primed and are too collectible to worry about shooting them.
