Default DWM 1910 Markings

Would like to know what these markings mean on a 1910 DWM serial number 5260.

Hi George,
Welcome to the forum! The unit mark on your gun stands for: 120th Reserve Infantry Regiment, Machine Gun Company, Weapon #48.

Thanks Norm,

Person who sold me this gun said it was refurbished for WWII use. Is this marking from that time period?

The unit marking is from the period prior to WWI.
